9 Essential Items Every Busy Mum Should Keep in Her Bag

Being a busy mum means constantly being on the go and juggling a million things at once. It's essential to have the right items in your bag to help you stay organised and prepared for anything that comes your way. As a mum of three I understand the importance of being prepared, so here are ten essential items that every busy mum should have in her bag:

1. Portable Snacks

Whether you're running errands or at a playdate, having portable snacks on hand can be a lifesaver. Pack some granola bars, fruit snacks, or nuts to keep hunger at bay for both you and your little ones.

2. Wet Wipes

From messy hands to unexpected spills, wet wipes are a must-have for any mum on the go. Keep a pack in your bag to quickly clean up any messes that come your way.

3. Hand Sanitiser

Keep a travel-sized hand sanitiser in your bag to help keep your hands clean when soap and water aren't available, especially when the little one’s have had their hands everywhere or when you can’t wash up before snacks.

4. Extra nappies (more than you need!)

If you have little ones in nappies, always make sure to have a few extras in your bag. You never know when you'll need them.

5. Portable Phone Charger

With all the running around you do, and kids stealing your phone, your battery can drain quickly. Keep a portable charger in your bag to ensure you can stay connected, especially in case of emergencies.

6. Mini First Aid Kit

Accidents happen, especially with kids. Having a mini first aid kit with band-aids, antiseptic wipes, and pain relief can help you quickly address any minor injuries that occur.

7. Sunscreen

Protect your family's skin from the sun's harmful rays by keeping a travel-sized sunscreen in your bag. You never know when you'll need it, especially on those impromptu park visits.

8. Spare Change

Having some spare change in your bag can come in handy for parking, vending machines, or unexpected expenses. Especially if you reply on your phone to make payments.

9. Emergency Contact Information

Lastly, make sure to have a list of emergency contact information in your bag. Include important phone numbers for family members, doctors, and other essential contacts in case of an emergency.

By keeping these essential items in your bag, you'll be prepared for whatever the day throws at you as a busy mum. Most of these can be kept in a handy MUM STUFF pouch, just saying!

Stay organised, stay prepared, and most importantly, enjoy the precious moments with your little ones!
